Hey boy's how have you been??? Speaking of calls, I stopped by an auction the other day and was snoopin around the boxes that sell for a buck or 2. An older guy (I say older I mean my age) picked up a call with a leather lanyard on it and threw it in one of the boxes. I noticed 30 minutes later he was still standing by the box. I could tell he was guarding it like a mongoose on a cobra. He bid a dollar I bid 5, he bid 6 I bid 10. Long story short the guy paid $107 bux for the call. He wouldnt let me get my hands on it but I could tell it was a P.S. OLT and it was very very old. About 3 1/2 inches long and very well used. He was EXTREMELY pisd at me. I've only seen one other like it and it belongs to my best friend. It was his great grandfathers. He has been told it is priceless
How you been pup, My oldest just made a large order from ranger joes prepairing for LDAC this summer, The same day he graduates LDAC he flys to fort Bragg for three weeks of intense Airborne training and Land Nav on Steroids. My youngest and I had us a little pigeon shoot Saturday. The birds we were shooting were a new generation Had NO CLUE what that noise was I went 24 for 25,,,, Dyl went 14 for 16. We left shortly after that as not to educate em. He is getting to be a stud with that 870. I want to get him a gun for his B-day, He wants a Baretta 391 He thinks he knows some guy named Bob A who shoots one of them My Maxus just don't cut it cause some guy named Bob A don't shoot that one
Glad to hear about your son coming up to NC. Land Nav at Bragg is easy. Tell him just to follow the trails. My buddy used to be an instructor, he just laughed at it. Tell the youngest to go with the other B gun, Benelli . Recon the oldest has thought about HALO ?

Ahh, the son knows his stuff, Beretta rules LOL.
Nah, most guns nowadays are reliable, fast handling, and pointable, so it's really down to preference. I shoot the Beretta A400 X-PLOR Light Field (3 inch as pposed to 3.5 inch), as I have arthritis (4 types), and have trouble using a heavier gun nowadays, but I would probably have been happy with a Browning Maxus too.
I just bought my GF a Browning Fusion in 20 bore, so she can come crow and pigeon decoying with me, and wildfowling too (Over deeks) once season begins And I wouldn't have bought here one if I didn't rate them.
