A friend emailed this article to the TCP, it was published by Winchester in 1934.  I suppose those were the 'good ole days' of crow hunting.

Love those vintage crow shooting articles. Got lots of Popowski's stuff. Strange how information from the 40's and 50's is still relevant today. Thanks for posting TexasMatt.

Has any out there ever built a "crow trap" and caught crows?   I  feel that crows have evolved and live among us and are too clever to go into a "trap." I would have to see it to believe it...

Check out the thread titled "Jason from down under". There is a video on it of a trap in action. I would suspect they would work just fine here in the good ole US of A.

thanks for letting me know.. Looks like the traps work.. I think I would rather call them in and hear the musical note of "C" flat when they hit the earth..
