How do you get crow decoys up in the trees?

Put em on a loooong stick. Poles for camo nets work well!

Best is to get a set of lofting poles, or a large fishing rod. You can either put the decoys overthe branches using hooked wire through the decoys, or fishing line through the decoys and over the branches, Back to the ground where you tie them off to a weight

I use a painters extention pole. It runs out to 16'.

I don't like to hang them into trees (unless its Winter or they're dead trees). In the summer I want them to stick out on top of the foliage to be as visible as possible. With my poles I can reach up to 50ft. More would be doable, if had more of them! :)

Yep, mine get up that high too, probably a bit higher, but I quit often hang them from the lower and middle outer branches, so long as they are viable to the other crows

I looked into to helicopters.......but in the end.....painters extension pole seemed to be cheaper to operate.......biggrin

Dang, you forgot the benefits of using the helicopter, it tends to remove the leaves from the trees too, producing the perfect decoy tree. Now come on, what's 400.00 and hour operating costs, for those benefits, no contests LOL

I have found that in this case my angel wings work really great,I have been repromanded a few times by the "All Mighty "though so I have to do it when he is distracted by you mortal bunch of sinners....
