Been away for a while, looking forward to the season!

Hey everyone,

Only 1 day until crow season starts here in NH!

Last year was the first year I was more into crow hunting (for a few years I would carry a call and take targets of opportunity while waterfowl hunting). i reached my goal of 25 just in time for the end of the season. I'll probably set a similar goal for myself this year. Most of my spots are considered a good day if I get 2 or more crows a time in the early season before they start to group up and migrate.

Last year, towards the end of the season, we went on a goose hunt with crows set up as secondary. Ended with 6 geese between 4 of us and a few crows. Here is a video of one of my crows, which also is one of my favorite shots (on any bird) of last season. First time ever in a layout blind too.

Happy Hunting, Looking forward to seeing everyone elses hunts and stories!

Hey Justin, I am looking forward to the morning opener in NH as well. We spent some time today scouting and freshening up blinds. I am hoping any showers and t-storms hold off until we put a few down in the morning before work. Good luck!
