new hunting spot aquired last night

Gained permission/ favor with a new farmer last night,( he really seemed facinated by the whole crow hunting thing) he owns a couple hundred acres of good crow hunting area, the best part

is that it is within a mile or so of a big cattle and hog

operation that really draws the crows, seagulls and vultures, hawks etc., and I think it is on a flyway as well, still doing some scouting.

He let me hunt it and check it out last night.

He wants me to leave it for a while why his son bow hunts for deer in the area. but the future looks promising, later in Oct, and again in March should be great.

had about 40 or so crows come in last night, the only problem they came in large groups, which is cool to see but as you all know is not "preferred " by us.

ended up with half a dozen in the dirt, fine by me.Really excited about the future opportunities at this spot.  "SCORE"!!!

Your going to have to keep an eye on that spot. L&S, do crows winter in your state or move further south?
