Went out late morning, (after some scouting) at a local wma that I haven't terrorized in a while, hopped in the old blind which was pretty grown over but still looked great, put 1 deke high and 1 low in a tree, fired up the caller.

First half hour pretty slow 2 in 2 down, then a group of 6 came in "LOW AND SLOW" I let them all the way into my no fly zone and let em have it, 3 down, fire up the distress call, one comes back to join his 3 buddies in the dirt, then all hell broke loose, it was reload shoot reload repeat when the smoke cleared 12 banditos down, the last 10 in like 5-10 minutes, put in my 1 hr. and headed out very pleased.biggrin

Nice story and a welcome distraction! I am stuck here with garden work and DIY stuff in the house...

Nothing better than sneaking out in the morning for a few hours and shooting a dozen crows. More so as many of us, myself included, will sit in a frozen duck blind all day to bag five mallards.

Ted,

I have stood in ice water literally all day myself to kill ducks and I love it.

But it's still not as exciting to me as having a great crow beatdown, is something wrong with me??no
