New to the forum but not to crow hunting. Been hunting crows for 7 or 8 years now. I've been hunting a pecan orchard for years and I think the birds are on to me. Alot of the times the birds are hanging up way high and won't commit. Thinking of getting one of those buster-II. Anybody using one of these? Are they any good. Glad to know that there's people like me that love to crow hunt. The forum that usually on you'll get bashed for hunting crows. Thanks for any input.
Yes the busters work. However, if they're hanging up out too far or up too far, they're most likely spotting you or movement from you. I was in your shoes at one time and the guys on here told me the same thing. Camouflage and more camp along with a better blind. Consider also your hands and face. And do NOT move until they are well within range.

Thanks Kev, Been hunting a fence row with privet hedge. I'll try to brush in a little better and see if that works. Got to have me one of those busters to try. I'll let yall know how it works out.

If you brush in your blind in really well, don't move at all until you shoot and be sure that the crows aren't seeing your face.........you will get the crows with calling and regular decoys.
What I mean is, if they are seeing you, or seeing you move, the Buster II decoy probably will not help.
Although......I have a moving decoy, (Expedite Edge Triple threat crow) and when the crows come in, they stare right at that moving deke and it allows me to move more to get a good shot.
