On another thread someone posted a picture of a paint roller handle made into a twisted basket to hang dekes in trees. Great idea and I just got around to making one for myself, not anymore.
Well all my crow dekes are the flocked Avery decoys, the one with the pole that inserts into the tail of the bird. Pull the little pole out of the tail and stick the paint roller that you have taken the bends out of and shove it in the deke.
Works slick. I guess a guy could drill a small hole in the tail of a regular deke and get the same results. So simple it is stupid. We even just put the the rod in the belly of the deke where the foot goes and it works really well.
