A couple of crow calls

Well, Ive been away from the callmaking thing for awhile, and everything else for that matter, attending to some urgent family matters. Then I couldnt log in for awhile, dont know what happened there. Anyways, been turning up a couple calls here and there. Thought Id share em.

I like the way you did the flutes on the one in the first photo.

Any field reports of these calls being used on real crows?

Thanks guys, all I can say is Alzehimers desease is absolutley terrible. Just a sad, sad, thing for a person to endure, then again, what disease isnt?
No pics from the field unfortunatly but we have done ok. Have lots of crows in this area which is all farm country, . I have seen however, a big increase in crow hunters around here, but few handcallers. Mostly E-callers, which makes sense because most guys are also coyote callers, which is extremley popular now. Getting a little crowded in the orchards.

Mark: FINE looking calls. Can you share what kind of wood did you use for the body and mouth piece? I like the personal touch...signing the call! Hope to see more of your calls/pictures/posts now that you are "back".smile

It sure is Mark. My wife and I cared for her mother in our home for over 3 years. Now she has been in a nursing home the past year and a half.

Very sad.

I have one and I love it. I mix it up with my Faulk's C-50, which I really love.

Yes, I agree that Alzheimer's sucks. My Dad is 86 and well along, and my Mom is 82 and recently diagnosed. Took her to an appointment today and had lunch afterward. She's doing okay, but it still sucks.
