Just wanted to say thanks to Crow Busters and to all of the contributors as well for all of the info that is available here. It has certainly helped me "start" to get up to speed the past few weeks. My goal was to get some decent hunts in before the season goes out (end of March) as well as determine what gear I need to be effective. I've had some decent hunts, done a ton of scouting, and am now looking forward to the end of June when the season re-opens to try some young crows as well as later in the fall when they start to migrate. I've been reading old posts and have read back about 20 pages, figured I'd do that before asking dumb repetitive questions....anyway, lots of info to be had there as well as pics and videos and links. I appreciate you guys sharing your expertise, it has straightened out the learning curve a bit for me!
I've learned more in the couple of months that I've been on here than the few years I've done it on my own. It's realy steped up my game. Theres been quite a few more crows left this world due to this forum.
Welcome BoWhoop. I come to DE a couple of times a year for waterfowl, maybe next time (season), we can get together and shoot. My duck hunter/in-law buddy really doesn't see any interest in crow hunting and I would like to introduce him to it. I'll try to keep your contact handy
Good luck with you new hobby! I'm sure to see you online more often to share your success.
Lots of good guys here with lots of valuable advice.
