So im getting a foxpro this weekend and i have a few questions. First question i have is when you hit your call selection how long is the sequence, does it play over and over and for how long? Secondly i have a johnny stewart cassette caller that ill be retiring can I use the external speaker off johnny with the foxpro? And lastly for being a bit younger than most here im not overly computer savvy is it difficult to load sounds on the caller? i plan on using it almost exclusively for crow hunting so id like to have them all stacked in one area so im not searching for what call i want. Thank you all.
Ryan, yes the calls are on a loup just like a cassette.
Yes you can use the Johnny Stewart speaker with the Fox Pro unit you just need to change the plug in at the end of the cord so it will work with the Fox Pro unit.
I would have Fox Pro load your call with the crow calls you want "before" it leaves Fox Pro.
Good Hunting.

Great choice on the FoxPro caller and Bob's calls. I have both and they cause crows to die by the dozens! I purchased Bob's set and about 3 others from the FoxPro list. I love to mix it up.

It is not hard to download sounds onto a FoxPro. I am far from smart with a computer, and I figured it out rather quickly. I have downloaded several sounds onto my caller. Just remember to save any sounds you remove to add others. Just save them in a file on your computer. I have a FX3 which only holds about 32 sounds, and I have about 25 crow sounds in it, so I had to "save" a bunch of the predator calls on my computer, then just swap sounds back onto it if I want to use it for yotes. That would not be a issue if you get a model that holds several hundred sounds.
In my opinion the BEST place to purchase your call is www.allpredatorcalls.com
They will load any combination of sounds that you wish. Most times they have the best price and they ship FAST.
Plus All Predator Calls carries my calls and will put them in for you, just incase you did not know.
When I bought my FoxPro, I was going to get it at either Cabelas or Bass Pro, but they just offered 24 random sounds. Some of them were Elk Bugling, Mountain Lion in heat, etc........NOT what I wanted.
It was fun picking out the sounds at All Predator Calls. I bought 10 different Crow sounds for my caller.
Thank you guys very much, greatly appreciated and good advice (as usual). I'm getting the wildfire 2 and having all predator calls download my tunes. It's a shame ill have to wait til june to try it out but on the other hand I may try my hand at some coyotes to pass the time =)
Or, you can call Foxpro, and order it straight from them......they will program it with whatever you want, and what better place to buy it than from the actual manufacturer
I would have liked to have bought straight from Fox Pro, but APC was cheaper. Like so many manufacturers in all areas, they allow retailers to set there own prices and have sales while keeping there price solid at full retail.
