Winter finally seems to be going, and today the farmer has started sewing my back field, so if it stays dry I will be out at them in the morning, trying out the new decoys and kit.
hoping for a very succesful day, and seeing as we had no winter crop at all, and the summer crop last year was destroyed by ain for 60-70%, I think the birds will be after it
mostly just been doing foxing, and here is one I got the other night, 165 metres (180 yards) with a 22-250 55 grain soft point at 3950+ fps.
wound entry at chest and exited through the rear, blowing its guts out, and even knocking a very large turd out of its rear too.
Congrats on the fox...and good luck on the crow, let us know how the fox deek works i'm interested in hearing more about it.
Will do, I'm hoping along with having 40+ crow deeks, and 40+ pigeon deeks, that the crows will be that incensed by the fox "attacking" the crows on the ground, that they won't pay attention to me

Was a quiet day (only drilled the field last night) but managed 7 for 9 shots. One flew behind a tree just as I squeezed off, so a miss, and another took two shots. Just set up the trail cam with a crow dead n front of it. See what takes it, and do the same again every day for the next couple of days. There are a lot of fox about, so removing another one or two won't have an impact, their place will soon be taken by another
