HHmmmmmmmm............"or for control of numbers....." let them outlaw it, and then we'll see which animals need their numbers contolled. My guess will be ALL of them.

Trouble is, they banned shooting geese, and when numbers got too high, instead of shooting them, they netted and gassed them, so the chances of an exception to shoot are practically ZERO

Well, with the bunch of losers we call politicians, the. chances of it going through are very high.
Here in the UK they are now discussing making DSC1+DSC2 (deer shooting/stalking certificate) compulsory for ANY AND ALL SHOOTING.
Hell, I don't shoot deer, just oar, but they say I can't have a boar rifle without doing DSC1+DSC2, and are now discussing making it compulsory for shooting crows, pigeons, and foxes too
All designed to disarm the populace under the guise of making things "better"
