A bit scouting over the past week and a few phone calls from irate sunflower produces got me into a shoot this morning. Set up in a hedge row between two fields at first light. Managed 36 crows and a probable. All shot with 1 ounce Fiocci Crusher loads of 7 1/2 shot.  Pics include some of the kill, a view form my hide and a bit of fall colours... the most glorious time of the year!

Hi Ted,

Always great to see your posts and photo's...  Our old school brother getting it done with the "Perfect Repeater"!

We will be following your lead in the next few weeks, it is still quite hot down here in the Republic of Texas.

M12 keep a close eye on that place after harvest, I few years ago some local farmers had sunflowers, after harvest it was a true magnet, had the best year on those fields

Nice Pics.

What kind of tree/bush is that with the decoys and red fruit?

That shrub is Hawthorne. Very nasty stuff with needle sharp thorns about 2 inches long. Common in hedgerows up here.
