Have enjoyed this forum and it is very informative.Just a little about me,lifelong hunter(primarily deer) , fisherman and just starting 2nd year crow hunting. Had some succes 1st year, best hunt totals were 80,77,58,58 on a.m shoots and worst were 1,3,4,10 . First  shoot for year was 8-24-13 and last was 12-19-13 with a total kill of 560 for rookie year. Shot cut corn field yesterday 1-4-14 picked up 34 to start new year. The Sport has given me time afield with my son ( doesn't deer hunt ) ,grandson and son in law that is a son to me. These crows in Bama are worthy adversaries that provide challenges that I have really enjoyed. Gone hang callers up till Feb. get after deer. Hope the post was ok as I am not computer savy. Thanks for the information I got from y'all ( had to use that being from the south L.O.L ).      Butch

Welcome from Upstate NY! Your worst days equal some of my best days in 3-4 years, so you're doing great!

Thanks for the welcome fellow crow killers. Rook-ie your reply to my post made me realize my choice of words in saying "worst" and "best" were not well thought out. The hunts I am blessed to go on are not measured by numbers and some of the most memorable hunts were the ones with lowest kills against small local murders. They were call shy and we still had a great time afield. I read your post about your son pulling sled in the snow, what memories you're making with him.
This is what it's about for me also. I don't ever won't to get caught up in the numbers killed makes for a great hunt. Hope you get on some good land with a lot of crows.

Butch
