10ga and I got both yesterday and today and between us we shot around 125 crows. Partly cloudy and windy on both days with migrating birds moving periodically north to south. On Saturday we shot together in the morning, around lunch time I had to leave and go pick up my motorcycle, it had been in the shop since July after I got rear ended at a red light. When I got it home I had some lunch and then took a stand on my own. Oddly enough I shot a crow with a mouse clutched tightly in it's beak. Right after I snapped that photo I had a group of several hundred crows descend on my position. It was chaos and I set a personal record for reloading and shooting an extractor double gun into the same group of birds, 11 shots with 8 downed. Today we stayed together and knocked down a bunch using a decoy tree in the cornfield. I don't know that it helped but it sure didn't hurt.
