Lost my best friend this week. Had to put him down due to cancer. It's amazing how a good dog enriches your life. They are the true definition of unconditional love.

I feel bad for you because they are indeed "mans best friend" and they do in rich our lives.

My house would be very empty with out my two dogs. You get to love them so, the only thing you can do is give them a good life while they are with you, that is all they ask for and in return they would lay there life down for you.

Thank you all for the kind words! I really do appreciate it.

You are right, Bob...the house seems very empty.

We will get another Lab, SHANEDOG. I couldn't imagine living without a dog.

He really was in a league of his own, Butch.

Again, thank you. Knowing others love their dogs and understand their immeasurable value makes me feel better.
