Grizzly,

Welcome to the forum, your question on calls probly can be answered by researching older post. If your asking for a call that will work on both these critters I am no help maybe others can.

Probably the "baby crow in distress call" would work on both at times (during breeding season). The crows will come to protect the "baby" and the coyote will think he's getting an easy meal

Hard question to answer without specifics but I can give you my $0.02 worth. If you asking about brand of caller for ecallers I will say hands down foxpro. I started with a foxpro wildfire and upgraded after 2 years to a crossfire. They have TONS of sounds and if you order it from them you can choose what sounds come on it. If you are asking what specific sound to use for both the answer is oddly enough rabbit in distress. I was doing a lot of coyote hunting before I got into crow and very often I would have crows show up to my rabbit in distress call and circling my decoy. I am not sure they where looking for a meal or showing up out of curiosity or actually looking for a meal but they did show up often. Honestly though it's not dependable enough for me to use it while targeting crow.

The ICOTEC GC500 is a good electronic call (designed and built by ex Foxpro guys I believe)
And the advantage over many is it uses standard MP3 files, so no having to pay for specific ones that will only work on their system.
That means you get thousands of calls to choose from, and it generally comes load with a fair few, and downloading extra from their site is free

Haven't heard of them. That is their biggest downfall though. Making a new sound file that only works on theirs is understandable but still a little shady. I have wanted to have a second caller but the prices have kept me from getting another foxpro. I might look into those.

The GC500 is made and designed in the USA.
It's much like a Foxpro, takes 200 calls per SD card, has a 15 watt speaker, and a 300 yard remote control with backlight LED illumination, and a favourites menu too.
I have one, and it's excellent, with good quality calls and excellent quality sound.
And it's about half the price of an equivalent Foxpro too

I have four electronic ones
The Primos AlphaMaxx, the ICOTEC GC300, the ICOTEC GC500, and a British made thing that works on special cards with four sounds on each (The sounds are good but the volume on it is crap)
Mostly I use the GC500 and the AlphaMaxx.
