Was going hunting with my brothers Sunday morning and decided to go for crow instead. Turned out to be the right choice since I got 12 and my older brother brought my nephew who is 3 over to watch. Should have been at least 20 but my shooting was off at the start. Best part was is asked my nephew what he thought about it and he said "this is so cool". I might have a new hunting partner in the works. Was unable to recover 2 though. One fell in a cedar thicket anf the other in the tall grass and couldn't find them.
Also I see now what bob was talking about when he told me before that if they where coming in high to a fighting call that they have had a lot of pressure. This was the first time I have gotten to hunt the birds on our farm and it was like night and day even with the fighting call. They came in like they do when I call public land with crow party or crow gathering and a feeding set. They where coming low and even trying to land. It was amazing. I am going to find someone to with me when I hit it again in about a month and try to really put a hurting on them. Now I just have to wonder who else it hitting these birds around where I live.
