Son and I had a good morning, cool and windy conditions. Set up to take advantage of the wind but crows used it to their advantage, made for some quick and sporty shooting. Have to admit we shot well, Son had a nice fast triple and several doubles. I had a Dutch double but in the heat of shooting I pulled the trigger again so It don't count. Shooting was over at 9:30 and we picked up our best 2 man tbc to date. 151 and lost 20 plus, still haven't got the clicker (lol). Got to try something different and it worked out hope we're on to something, we will see. With these rascals only time will tell.
With that sandy soil I bet you shot them over a peanut field?
Any scotch double that I ever made was by accident. I tried unsuccessfully several times when conditions were right to make it happen but never has up to this point.
Thanks, and the scotch double wasn't planned (don't know where I got "dutch") anyway cant claim it I pulled the trigger again. Peanuts were close by but we were not on them, trying a new strategy on this area. May have been a fluke or luck don't know yet but will let you know.

Butch
Dutch, Scots = same-same. Both thrifty; therefore a two bandits on one shot is extra good, cause' it cost only half as much .
Photo -- Love it! (BH & I are going through crow withdrawal around here. Thank Heaven for turkey and deer and small game).

It still cost me two, couldn't lay off the trigger in the heat of the moment. Bird I was shooting folded as the other flew into the shot pattern and was hit hard and was folding as I hit the trigger again and he "poofed". Great y'all have deer and turkeys to keep you sharp, bow season started here the 15th and hasn't hardly crossed my mind but we do have a long season goes out Feb 10th.
Ted,
Sounds like you been hangin out with Big Honkers! Thanks for the humor always need a good laugh.
