Son and I got after them a couple of mornings, weather was warm, humid and very little wind. We're hunted good property that in the past produced good shoots. We were hoping to put a lot more on the ground than we did but crows didn't get the memo. We picked up 44 first A:M and lost a few to rough terrain, second morning we picked up 70 with maybe 10 lost. Had a great time with my Son, had a little drama with my head and my Sons Pathfinders hatchback, they are harder than my head and will put a nice dent in your scalp, on a positive note got by without stitches but my part will not look right for a few days
Got to admit that the hair is real thin and receding fast but at my age it will be one less thing to keep up with, but vertical and conscious is real good! My Son said he had never seen anybody hit there head that hard before, I have been called hardheaded a time or two but I don't won't to see those shooting stars again for conformation on the subject.
