Is Kenny King still offering guided hunts in Iowa? I see on the website where it says he is but i cannot find any info on how to get more info on it. I cant find any contact numbers or emails.
The story I got was that Kenny King who charged his customers to hunt did not pay the farmers a dime of that money. When the farmers found out they no longer let him hunt on there land and he was done!
I read somewhere he was the "Iowa crow king" or something? That the fellow you are talking about? I hate when crow roosts move too....it is always somewhat un predictable...hey my shooting got better! I miss twice as much now! Seriously it did get better...but I swear these crows are wearing body armor! Steel shot doesn't work? Naww...I just cannot hit that's all....[spoiler]
I looked but could not find any information about Kenny King from Iowa. He used to have his phone number posted on this web site but no longer. I'm quite sure his crow guiding business is kaput!

Why are you shooting steel shot at crows? What little of it I have shot at crows I found it works better on crows than it does on ducks and geese, crows are much more fragile than waterfowl.
[spoiler]Well I got a non resident license to shoot in Vermont and thought they adhered to the water fowl regulations on crows-they don't...I grabbed some steel shot at Wal-mart[about 7 boxes-what to do?) so when I went out to hunt I grabbed a couple boxes of whatever I had...that's all...I didn't really hunt in Vermont because I couldn't find anyplace to shoot that was worth it[such as the connecticutt river south-nothing worth shooting if you could find any place anyways!)..the one location that was covered in crows last year has posted signs every 5 feet or so..I never saw so many posted signs in my life...from a distance looked like postage stamps put anywhere there was any room! And doesn't it just figure that that is exactly where you would find any crows?
Vermont crow hunting season is kind of similar to states where the season ends just as the migration begins near the end of October...no crows up until that time...their spring season is better than ours though as it is April period...[spoiler]Whereas our season ends in spring just before the spring migration begins!!!
