My next crow hunt will put me at the 158,000 mark in 42 seasons of hunting crows. I never kept track prior to 1974.
I have been shooting crows for 13 years longer than my partner Dick Kilbane.
In 42 seasons with the various partners that I have had (Boyd Robeson, Jim Lundquist, Jerry Byroad and Dick Kilbane) the number of crows shot in my company is 234,000 plus crows. That's a lot of crow meat!
Ducks unlimited estimated that on the northern prairies alone the average crow kills 100 ducks by eating their eggs and young ...so you did and are doing a very very important job.
Ahhhh.. but for the love of labor! Or however one might say that?
