i kind of fell out of the crow hunting loop being my two crow hunting buddies gave it up...but i decided to get back into this this year and dusted off the old J-Stewart and went on a handful of crow hunts before waterfowl season consumed me...was a bit rusty but had a few good hunts...looking forward to some more come march...
heres some of my hunts so far...forgot how much fun this was!!!!!
Nice hunt's, I know what you mean by waterfowling it's an addiction, I don't pick up the crow equipment normally till waterfowl season is over... Keep banging them, I'm sure you'll hook up with some more partners if you take a couple out and they see how much fun it is!!

the limit sadly is TWO now...apparently one of the two species of bluebills ( i think greaters) is not doing well so to protect them they dropped the limit from 4 to 2....as for why my friends quit one got addicted to pain meds and his life spiraled out of control despite my help and we no longer speak the other had a child and with limited time gave up crow hunting..he still deer and duck hunts a little just no time for crows after the other seasons end...
i am going out for my first late season crow hunt sunday and monday...my land owners says there has been roughly 100 or so crows rooting in the turned over hay feilds behind her house cover is sparce but with the black dirt and grass...i think a gillie suit in the ditch and a quality decoy spread of a doz flocked decoys i should be able to wack a few...REALLY looking forward to it...
