From left to right photos # 1 & # 2 were taken in Mexico. Photos # 3, 4 & 5 were taken in Argentina. The last two were taken in Mexico. I used to go to Mexico after the crow season was over, I would go in February to get in to a warmer climate. I would go to Argentina before the crow season would start, I would usually go in May or June.
I see you pay a lot of attention to detail, we both share that trait.
Depending on what part of Mexico you are hunting in depends on the species of ducks you will get.
It's delightful weather conditions to hunt ducks in, just a light jacket for the mornings and a t shirt for the afternoon. Was your friend hunting White Winged Doves or Turtle Doves?
I shot more than my share of Blue Winged Teal, Bluebills, Cinnamon Teal, Pintails and Gadwall. I hunted for many years around Sinaola Province off the west coast of the USA. That is the same area where El Chapo the big drug lord in Mexico used to operate before they nailed him.
