With my new life, home and busy work schedule, I seem to only get to stop by once a month. Just hoping you all are doing well. I haven't been able to get out for quite sometime for any hunting, much less crows. However, I did just return from my week long waterfowling trip to Saskatchewan. What a blast! I think my next favorite birds to hunt are the Sandhill Cranes! Tough birds to kill and tasty off the grill - liken to a NY strip. I'll post up some pics from that trip, if anyone is interested.
Good to see you back, and as far as the Huntin pics post em up. I have to admit that I didn't know you could hunt Sandhills Cranes much less that they were good to eat and need to hear more.
Sandhills are tasty, liken to a NY strip, of course, has to be cooked right, marinated, low flame, no more than medium rare.
Short Youtube of week. My camera mount broke on first hunt and limited the amount of video of the trip. None the less, it was awesome! Video sound track was removed by Youtube due to copyright issues.
After action photos from the trip. In one of the last photos, with the guy holding the goose, that one was banded. The last couple of pics is the bird count diary.
