Got after them this a:m and had a good shoot so-lo. Crows were wary but enough cooperated to keep me busy. Clicker showed 70 when it was over about 10 a:m. My shooting was hot and cold but I'll take it as I've shot a lot worse . Lot of fish crows have shown up on this property and I hope they go back where they came from! They are some agrivating son of guns. Anyway had a good day to finish a fairly decent season. Got to give Big Honkers a shout out for the "tip" he gave me, it put a bunch on the ground.(Thanks bro. (Aka- Mullet Man) Few pics below and one of the crows beak had curled back and grew into skin below his eye, seemed healthy but I don't see how he fed well. Now I'll hunt thru y'all and relax catch some fish and catch up on the honey dues.

Pretty sure the curl beak crow came in aggressively screaming, he hit the ground within 5 ft of my blind. As I thought it over I think he survived being super aggressive and running others off of feed he could eat. Just my thought don't really know. I meant to check and see how far it had grew into its head but didn't. Anyway it was an oddity for sure.
O.A. Didn't save it, kinds wish I had done what you said but at the time all I was thinking about was Loading up an headin home.
On a side note about our year we only hunted 13 times down from 19 to 20 times due to hot and drought conditions that we couldn't figure out. Only hunted twice in Nov. which is usually a good month for us. Our average was down from last yr. 20 birds per hunt, not complaining just going over records I keep to try and gain an edge on the adversary. And as of right now the "edge" is in Mr. Crows favor. Good Lord willing we will be after them next year and Mr. Crow better be ready cause we are planning on bringing it
Butch, that crow with the crossed mandibles is quite the oddity. Something seen like this in the 1960's with cormorants. was attributed to DDT and other toxins causing birth defects as cormorants were at the top of the food chain.
