Hi guys
I just want to ask the question, which weather conditions do you guys prefer to go out hunting crows? Windy? Dry? Hot? Foggy? ...
Please tell me your experiences!!!
Greetings
Michaël
The days I like to go is when the weather is in the 45 degree to 55 degree range. This way the birds don't become lethargic from the heat and don't move. I also like some breeze of 5 to 10, 5 to 15 or 10 to 20 mph. Cloudy days are great but sunshine will work just as well if your in the right spot. There is no one way to hunt crows, you just have to find out what works for you the best and that means plenty of hunting.
Crows are fair weather upland birds in my opinion. Light overcast makes for less glare and such and targets stand out well against a white sky but sunny days are good for the soul. With this said I have shot crows in all types of weather from 20 below winter conditions to blistering hot summer days. Further a steady wind keeps the crows coming in true and from one direction.
