 Hi Legendary BobA;

 Well not just yet since the season here ended and they all began showing up everywhere.....the photoes by NHC told me straight away they were arriving in full force after the fields were  deserted; central NH the crows arrived like crazy for what that is worth and my hunting pal  didn't go due to the "cold" which is excruciating here-I live pretty high, the tip of 3,200 foot  Monadnock is about a 1/8 to a quarter mile above me and  near zero every day not that I can go out in the back yard-no crows anyways. But if there were it is practically sub zero with the wind gusts here anyways. And-again-the season is over...

 I need to upgrade my winter clothing.

 The big day was largely unproductive when I was out. Very few migrants at all and no locals at all...yes I know-I gotta' vacate this area period. This is not crow hunting territory.

I should have said by "season is over" what I meant  peak crow activity for clarification so technically it was "over". If there's no crows-no season right?

Bob,

Finally got a call from one of my growers thats a little over 3 hrs from me, said he had bout a hundred hanging around. Was hoping to give it a go but fixing to head to the coast for some family time and R&R. Maybe they will be there when I get back.
Was wondering if there had been any reports from Mississippi, thinking maybe the hurricanes may have pushed them that way. Still trying to figure what went on this year.

St. George Island Fl. Right off Appalaciacola, very nice place. It's like going to Florida 40 years ago, no chain stores. Mostly mom & pop businesses and no high rises. Even in prime time summer it's never crowded. Great get a way from the crowds. Plus the fishing can be unreal.

I’ve only been once here is our early season. I’ve been hitting deer season pretty hard this year since we had some real talent on camera. Our late season opens back up next week so crow is about all I’ll be doing till the end of Feb. Found a new place to go over Christmas too. Farmer wants me to come shoot over his silage bags. Crows have been ripping holes in the tops and eating some.

 I'm familiar with that area. You're right, real down home old style town. Apalachicola is where air conditioning was invented !   We do a september trip near there every year & stock up on kingfish off mexico beach & trippletail out of indian pass.  ENJOY !

Camo,

The area from Port St. Joe to St. George Island just fits this old man's taste. Folks are great, seafood is unreal, no Franchises to speak of, and not crowded. Only thing missing are enough crows to hunt biggrin

 Big 10/4 on that Butch !  We looked into relocating to the sunshine state a few years back & i did some research on hunting down there. It appeared that crow hunting was only allowed on the weekends ????   We take my boat when we go there but i have a good old boy fishing guide on speed dial that can  limit you out on tipple tail & king mackerel if it's the right time of year.  Let me know if you ever need his contact info....
