In case you missed this important bit of avian science being accomplished - likely with a gummint grant of some sort, behold:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/speaking-of-science/wp/2018/01/09/some-birds-are-so-stressed-by-noise-pollution-it-looks-like-they-have-ptsd/?utm_term=.5bbed63c4e42

First thing that came to mind is 12 ga. "noise pollution" in the immediate vicinity of large black flying creatures.

First time I ever knew there was a career path to become "...an avian psychologist." Heck, I thought that's what all of us on this site do for fun.

It must be true. It's from the Washington Post.

This reminds me of shooting skeet at our local Air Force base a few years back.  Every spring there were a couple bluebirds that would perch on the electric wires near the skeet field and watch us. Being about 15 yards away, I often wondered if they were keeping scores!  Guess if they didn’t like the noise (there or in your article), they could fly off to a different place...DUHH!!

This is junk science similar to an article I saw a couple days ago about the extra water weight of melting glaciers causing the ocean bottom to sink!!!  http://www.newsweek.com/climate-change-sinking-ocean-rising-sea-levels-772862

And this is the stuff they now teach in our public schools and colleges... Even with Trump now in charge, I worry about our country!
