Give me some reports fellas. Hows the hunting been your way? Mine is slowing down with season ending quick. Hoping for a couple more good shoots before season ends!

Here in Oklahoma, our crow season closes Match 4th.. Crows around me seem to be scattered few and far between...

The hunt was nice as far as weather. 54 and sunny but it killed my roost flight! The crows were a mile high! Called in 20+ with the Johnny Stewar. Great sounding call. Not as loud as id like but hell of a call. Scratched out 18 but seen thousands. I’m in southern IL and our season goes out the 28th of February. Still time but cold weather coming soon and I’m sure it will effect how the rest of the season goes!

I wouldn’t tell a soul where at! Haha. Seeing them and killing them are 2 different things. Not many people can get permission around my town. Farmers have had bad experiences with people hunting and hardly let people hunt no matter what the species and it sucks!

Many times I have received permission when no one else could get it. Mid-summer, when farmers are baling hay, I'd offer to help a few hours for free if they would let me hunt on their land. Most times that I offered, they said, just go ahead and hunt. I never had to actually help with the baling, but it showed that I wasn't trying to get something for free.

I’m actually hoping to get in good with a couple of the farmers here. I’ve got good ground now but still want to expand and hunt new ground and birds!

The more land that you can hunt, the less you have to hunt each piece.

Try to find multiple blind sites on each property. This way you can keep the wind at your back when it blows from different directions, and/or keep the sun out of your eyes.
