Bob,

Several years ago there was a big West Nile scare. Don’t know if it reduced the crow populations, but lots of people were worried.

Personally, after spending most of my life on the coastal barrier islands of SC were mosquito populations are legendary, I wonder if me and my family have been exposed. Anymore it is rare that I use bug spray as you get used to the bites after a few weeks of exposure each spring. Maybe I have developed some immunity to the virus.

OTOH, if I come down with a case of it, I’ll let you know. If I die from it, I’ll try to get my wife to warn you to be more careful than I was!
