They don’t have a dealer network so you must order them from their shop in England. Unfortunately it appears that they have been overwhelmed by their own success. You will not like the current message on their website:

There are other (English) flappers, but I have no firsthand information on how they compare. Seems like a possible opportunity for an American startup company. The English use them primarily for wood pigeons and crows. How about a model for crows & ducks and a smaller one for doves?

Demi, I hope the Edisto River didn't flood your property? Your house is on the high ground so I hope you and your family are alright ? Mike made it only tree damage around his place on John's Island. I just came in after giving the local Fox Squirrels there breakfast of unsalted peanuts. On the bird feeders the woodpeckers are going nuts. I have all three species of doves feeding here also, Mourning Doves, Collard Doves and White Wing Doves. The White Wings have made it up to Kansas from south Texas and Mexico during the past 35 years. I used to get some decent White Wing Dove hunts in Mexico back in the 1980's.

Fortunately, we were spared. As the hurricane was approaching Ellie and I left to shoot a tournament in Savannah, knowing we were OK... didn't even board up the house. When we got back, I checked the rain gauge and found that we had a total of 1/8" of rain! Savannah got some wind which made for some dicey targets!

Mike probably got the same amount of rain. The rivers to our north are overflowing with rain from the Upstate and now giving them fits. I've heard of multiple instances where people were pulling out new appliances (installed after Hurricane Matthew's high water last year) to prevent them from being flooded again! UGH.

FF5: It is not an exaggeration to say this device is the single most effective tool to use to kill crows! It is more effective than whatever your decoy(s) spread/approach/technique looks like now. It is easy to use, nothing to maintain and is very reliable. It virtually eliminates the need for ANY other decoys--meaning you can travel light! You have to see it in use to believe how  effective it is. It is a JOY.. to watch in action!!! Crows eyeballs become affixed on one of their own.. as it uses a freshly killed crow--wings flapping, head erect, tail spread--just like the real thing BECAUSE it IS the real  thing. You will find crows as so affixed on the flapper, they notice you less.. far less. Once you shoot at decoyed birds they tend to flare off less vigorously.. hang around.. puzzled at what is going on!! When they become available again.. might be now as I have not checked recently..  consider ordering one if you are a serious crow guy.

My post above this one was stimulated by the experience I had yesterday--my first crow hunt (solo) of the 2018-19 season. Between 7:05 and 10:20 yesterday morning we ( me and my FF5) blindsided 99 crows! I used that word because to this  old crow guy, the crow's attention, focus, etc.. was on the flapping, realistic...because it IS real..crow mounted on the FF5. My hide was passable but mediocre and I feared I would be spotted too often--nope! They came in with full confidence and abandon often on a straight line right into the flapper! I was shooting over a fairly level field of cut corn that extended at least 500 yards to my front and sides. Once the birds cleared the distant tree line and came into view.. they appeared to be under the control of "the tower" meaning they "maintained course, altitude and speed" right into the decoy! There is NOTHING like this in crowdom--birds on a string, in sight for 500 yds.. coming right at you, 10-25 feet high, unwavering.. right into easy range...completely fooled! And I know when crows are completely fooled and these were--thank you FF5!!! Starting at 7:05 ( I had killed a single using mouth caller at 6:50--takes 2 minutes to mount deceased on FF5) I had killed 51 by 8 am, 86 by 9 pm and 99 by 10:20. Was hoping for Mr. #100 but the action had reach a trickle by 9:30 and the farmer showed up on his tractor--end of hunt but I was done anyway! WHAT a fine shoot and memorable shoot!!

Great report, Skip!  And another update on my earlier post... They have changed their message on the website and are now taking orders for their new FF6.  Don’t forget the 6-hour time difference.

We need some col online forums to get some relaxation from the daily hectic life. Life needs the grademiners reviews to break only then it can move long and smooth. The more you will give breaks the more it will be easy for you.
