You might have heard by now that Walmart's CEO announced today, their new policy to cease selling 5.56/.223 ammunition and eventually "handgun" ammo. The reason: to make Walmart and by extension, the United States a safer place.
Male Bovine Scat!
Thus, I announced my new policy earlier today, that I am ceasing to spend $1,000s of dollars per year--in fact, no dollars per year--at my local Walmart. There's a nice Meijer's store a half mile closer that will, yes, cost a couple/few more $ per visit, but, that's Capitalism and freedom. Isn't it?
Oh yes, earlier today, I wrote a snail mail letter relating my new policy to the Walmart CEO, Doug McMillon, and e-mailed it to him and his Executive pals.
Please consider doing likewise.

Well put O.A. I try to support mom and pop stores and not chain stores anyway. Glad I didn't go to the other day to pick up shells. I still have hope that folks will see the "agendas" that are being pushed in this country in so many areas especially against the 2nd amendment. Most folks pushing the "hunting aspect" need to realize the "2nd" is to protect us from the government's overreach. I hope the "precious blood" and sacrifice that has been given to protect our freedoms will not be forgotten. On Wal-Mart's decision, I'm thankful they have the freedom to conduct business as they want to because of the service and sacrifice of people like yourself and our Military hero's and that I also am able to "freely" conduct my business with whom I choose. And this will impact them on my preference of shopping with them as it has with other chains that I have stopped shopping with because of their political leanings and agendas.
Thanks for the heads up,
Butch
( I will also submit a response to CEO Mcmillon and remind him that "Sam" probly would not approve as most of us dont)
