Two cowboys were face to face in a life or death gunfight. One of them had a coach who whispered in one cowboys ear, "Take your time and hurry". You have probably heard this phrase yourself.
I think it also applies to crow hunting, in that we can take our time preparing for the hunting season, as crow seasons are usually closed much longer than they are open, and this time off gives us plenty of time to prepare. Then, when the season opens, we hurry to get packed up the night before the big day of shooting! Hurry to the shooting area, hurry to set up, hurry to get into the blind, hurry to load our gun, hurry to get the game call on, hurriedly watch for incoming targets, and shoot too hurriedly!
Does this routine apply to you? It certainly applies to me.
