Been terrible quiet here on the board. Thought I’d post some ”crow art”. Pic was taken from a long abandoned farmyard that always produces a few targets every time I visit.

M-12,

Dog days here, float fishing is about to get right I hope. Spotted bass get good on a few of my float trips mid August. Crows still a good way off, but time to start getting stuff in order. We moved after 38 plus yrs in November so my huntin gear is, well I really don't know (lol) so I had better get started! And the pic is great! Thanks.

You want to know how slow it is here in South Carolina?? It’s been so long since I’ve shot a crow that on Sunday when stopping for vegetables at a local market, the owner/farmer complained about the Red Wing Blackbirds eating his corn.

Ever since, I’ve been debating whether to go back and say I’ll shoot some for him... In 90°+ temperatures along with the hordes of bugs & mosquitoes!!

Can’t wait for the crow season to get started!!

Demi

Ted,

My trigger finger is getting awful itchy and according to my "hunt log" from the past couple seasons Paul and myself are about 70 days away from getting to scratch that itch.

Nice pic also. Curious as to how he ended up in that position; is that where he crashed and burned or was he loving placed there?

Crows are again gathering in the hundreds and even thousands with migration in mind. Doing my best here in Southern Manitoba to ensure a few never meet the international borderbiggrin
