Rob,

Good work!  What exactly did you do differently to have all the pictures upright?

Very good MSRob,

Looks like you hunted from that spot more than once so it must be a good one. Who do we have in photo three?

Yes, more information on the double guns.

Eight crows is a good NH day actually....but there have been better days in history by those in the know but as of late conditions didn't favor me but none the less that is good...keep that area in mind as I am sure migrations will flesh out your interest....I see a few stragglers moving down  and very few at that but if someone runs and guns they are "doable".....just go down a quiet back road and duck into the woods-you should get a few that way.....a little calling...and if you don't mind shooting up through the trees as they whip over head to see what's up then...where ever you might be....

Hey all!

Demi I have no idea what I did right!  Which is the opposite of my usual....not knowing what I did wrong (However, my wife is a big help in this area).  Hopefully, I will have some pics to post of hunts this season and if I happen to solve the mystery I will pass it on.

Hey Bob,  The guns are both Belgian makes (I can't afford the English wares).  The Boxlock is a Joseph Defourney BLE and the sidelock is a Jules Thonon BSLE.  Both guns are 12 bores and 100 yrs old give or take a few...  Its fun to shoot crows with them!

Randy, the girl in pic 3 is my middle daughter.  She turned 11 that day and wanted to tag along and see what a crow hunt was all about.  We tried a new spot that day and I only scratched down 2.  We had a great time though.  She just got over 100 lbs so looks like I'm going to be shopping for a scatter gun for her soon.  The other spot is behind my house.  It seems to be along the flyway to a grouping area.  I have pretty good success there, despite being the crow duffer I am...   I am constructing a permanent blind in another spot right behind my house for quick & easy morning hunts.

I enjoy all your posts!!

Rob,

Thanks for the reply.  I think the Administrator must periodically update something with the site to get them straight again.  My last post worked flawlessly, too.  This has happened in the past and it is always nice to see when things are restored to working.

Demi, fwiw, I've noticed, and it could be coincidence but...
Photos I took in portrait orientation had the problem, one or 2 I took in landscape orientation came thru ok. I haven't yet tested this hypothesis tho.
