Coming home yesterday, a handful of crows flew out of a (volunteer) pecan tree in our yard as I drove up. Been seeing crows slipping in for the past 3 weeks, so after a particularly hard two days of work, I thought I would take a break this morning to bust up the group. I set up a blind in a strip of trees/shrubs between the tractor shed and yard last night and went out this morning.
That group of crows plus a couple other flights were about all I could draw in, but it allowed me to vent my frustration by taking down 7 birds. Being a slow hunt and close to the shed, I was able to finish a small project on our golf cart between groups of crows, so it wasn't a total waste of time. Coming in to the office this morning, I was totally relaxed and somewhat satisfied! Life is good!
