Rob is holding a 33 1/3 record that Bert Popowski gave me in 1976. It is perhaps the last one in existence of him demonstrating how to blow the fighting call and the distress call for his customers. He sold them in the 1940's and 50's for five bucks. Rob is also holding one of the crow calls that Bert sold during that era; it's bright red.
Rob drove 550 miles from Mississippi to visit the crow museum today.
I enjoyed my visit immensely! I would recommend to any of you other crow-junkies that if you get the opportunity go visit Bob. I'm already pumped for next season.
