Ted, as you are aware if they even come halfway close in that type of cover, they are in trouble.

Bob, I think this is the first time I've see you set up without a truck load of cedar bows concealing your blind. Did you have to carry your gear to that location, is that the reason ? Paul.

Paul, the reason was that my cedar bows were all dried up with little cover and it was the end of the season for me. I didn't cut new ones for just a few hunts at the end of the season because I made due with other types of cover. That spot you can drive right too.

Yes, head high cover gives a 360 which is what we strive for. Nothing in the way as crows have that uncanny ability to put that one tree between a shooter and themselves. With this said, I have hunted cruise in everything from big tall timber to complete bald ass Prairie.

Hi Bob,

Looks like a nice setting for a hunt. It’s nice to hunt in a visually pleasing setting. If the birds do not cooperate at least it’s something pretty to look at.
