Here is the best hunt so far this season. I got two with one shot on this hunt.

Dick and I rolled 417 crows from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. I shot 217 and Dick shot 200.

The first photo is on Dicks side of the blind.

It's impossible to see all the birds downed in the under brush.

That's impressive Bob, I know that was a good time. Hopefully you didn't have to pick them up.

No way did we pick them up, the critters will make short work of them.

Hope you have good shooting this season.

That's some serious fast action Bob. Looks like the weather was a bit cooler than the last pictures you posted. I really enjoy those photos. To me, they epitomize a late fall hunt. Cloudy, chilly, the picked corn field, dead brush and trees on the field border and a bunch of crows. Great country to hunt in.

Those viney weeds covering the bushes make good blind material. We've got stuff like that in low lying areas around here.

Excellent photos and hunt, thanks for sharing and keep after 'em.

Randy, it was so cold in the mornings that I had to put more air pressure in all four tires on the pickup!

We shot the 417 the first afternoon then 149 the next morning and 201 the next day on an afternoon shoot.

I'm just throwing logs on the fire for the next few days, if I get some good shooting that will hold me for several days.

I used to hunt crows in Iowa years ago. Great food wherever you went to eat at the end of the day.

Many fell in the standing corn that you can't see in the overall view.
