What causes a roost to leave? Been Watching the roost again this year waiting for deer season to end so i could start hunting them and it just disappeared. This is in Illinois and roost was active til the 2nd shotgun season and then it disappeared. Deer hunters could be the cause, but could they do it in just a couple nights? Seems towns try everything to get rid of them with no success so i'm struggling to understand how it could disappear so quickly. When a roost leaves how far do they usually move? 2 years ago i had 2 roost to hunt, 1 disappeared last year and now the other is gone and i am just trying to understand why.
