Do you use the small metal stake provided with the ff5 or do you raise it up some, they seem to react to it fairly well as it is. Just wondering. The old charger from my old Johnny Stewart seems to do a good job of charging my 12v 7ah battery.

My hunting partner was hunting alone last week and said he saw a white crow but not in time. It was on the back side of the blind and by the time he got turned around the crow was behind a tree and no chance for a shot. If that won't ruin your day nothing will. I see no posts, everyone quit?

Dale and I got into a pretty good bunch at a pecan orchard. It was tough shooting but we ended up with 192 KIA. Most of them are in the sled / boat ( see pics )although we had quite a few flame out up to 300 yards away & didn't get retrieved.

Back in the day I used the old standard owl but now use a redtail hawk to rile them up. My thinking was in all my years of hunting and fishing I've only seen crows mob an owl once but I have seen them mob red tail hawks multiple times. To get into your spot before the morning crows are flying? Would you consider it a waste of time to hunt if you couldn't get to your spot before sun up? This would be just shooting local crows, wooded farm country.
