Starting to think about getting an e-caller. Not fully committed to getting one yet but starting to think about it. I was looking at the foxpros on their web-site. No more FX-3 or FX-5. So I'm mulling over either the Firestorm or Scorpion. Both are listed as new. Anybody got opinions on theses two.
Just received my Storm today. I had sent back a Foxfire and upgraded. The Foxfire was unreal. Within 30 seconds I had crows flying around me. Worked each time I went to a new location. They learn fast. Haven't been to the same places in a couple of months. Looking forward to doing so and seeing if they have forgotten yet. I think they just got off their nests the past couple of weeks.
The TCP has used a variety of FoxPro calls over the years, and they have all been fantastic. Unfortunately, we haven't used either of the two you mention. Regardless, quality shouldn't be an issue. Just pick whatever one has the features you want, and you're almost certainly going to be happy with the purchase.
If you are going Fox Pro,I would get the Snow Crow Pro or the CS-24 with the 30 watt speaker,go big or go home!!Dont scrimp on a ecaller you will only be sorry later! I dont have a FoxPro,I am a Wildlife Tech guy,I use my callers everday during crow season and yote season, they are working in extreme hot and cold conditions,a great caller will give years of service!! The Fox Pro's do have some of the coolest features and you can quickly download sounds, and they have the best remote in the industry.
