The TCP just wrapped up its annual varmint shooting trip to the Texas Panhandle. Once of our part time patrolmen showed up to this years shoot equipped with a new set of wheels. We quickly dubbed this device the "Prairie Schooner". Unfortunately, there weren't a whole lot of rodent targets on this year's trip, but we are pondering various ways to implement this device in pecan orchards and other crow shooting areas. The possibilities are endless!!
The interesting thing about this ride is that you actually drive from up top. Nobody sits in the driver seat of the vehicle. All of the controls have been extended to the upper deck.
I think so. The plan is to sell this prototype, and build version 2.0 with the proceeds. This one is fantastic, I can't wait to see what features the next one will have.

Skip: An amazing vehicle for sure. Up in the breeze and out of the dust. Great visual perspective. Higher angle of incidence on shots migitates ricochets. And chicks dig it!
My goodness.. this rig has potential!! Was this idea orignial to a TCP member? Please allow me to place an order!!!!

Skip, TCP proper cannot claim this rig. The designer/builder has hunted crows with us many times, but he still prefers deer hunting over crow shooting. Therefore, he has not and will be awarded "Patrolmen" status.
Matt go up another10' it would be an awsome mobile deer stand!! I was gonna mount a Texas Tower in back of a pick-up fof deer hunting on Nantucket Island because of the amount of scrub oak, but power lines became an issue.

Gadget Bob: A kind offer indeed.. thank you!! But based on your posts over the past few years, the TCP would notice immediately that I was grossly under equipped, under gunned, under "gadgeted" for forays with you guys.. and would probaby be discharged from the TCP forthwith.
