Although the NH season doesn't start until 8/15 nearby Maine opened on 8/1. I got out yesterday afternoon with my partner for the mosquito and tick feeding season opener. The first shot of the season for both of us killed a bird which I take as a good omen. Only one more bird came in during a 3 hour stand and we collected that one too. A slow day but a fun day none the less, it's only going to get better.
I should be be getting my new to me 1893 Parker 10 bore back from the stock bender this week. I won't be outgunned this year
