2006 OK Crow Hunt

With the posts from the old forum lost. Things slow with most seasons not open yet. And too hot to do much of anything here in Texas. I thought I would pull up my dog's hunting photo diary I keep and cut and paste some of my old pics I once posted here.

I think this was the beginning of March 2006. Looks like I was able to cut and paste it just as I have it saved. thumbsup.gif

After all the seasons had closed in Texas there was still one open in Oklahoma.Though not something you really need a dog for, it was some of the most fun Blaze has ever had. Those circling, diving crows had Blaze stomping her front feet and vocally groaning she wanted them so bad. She also made a good decoy. Pictures are from a Crow Hunt in Love Valley Wildlife Management Area.

The Pintails always seem to know when Hunting Season is over.

Thanks,
I will try and pull up some of my other old hunts to post. Nothing of the caliber of the regulars here, but I do get out with the dog on a crow hunt at least once a season just for the fun of it. And too, I am stuck home with a big mesquite needle stuck in my knee that I got on a run to my hunting lease Saturday. Its been bad swollen, but I think it's getting better.
