Hey All I was up at chicken licks skeet club last sunday,and one of the crew has his son shoot with him a lot well his daughter wants to shoot so he went out and bought a Escort Semi Auto in 20 gage,gas drive,3" chamber.It really looked like a nice shooter,its made in Turkey,and it cost $250.00!!! He shot it a lot it,and it had no jambs or problems,it was a flat black finish. For any of our fellow busters looking for an Auto and your on a tight budget,you may want to check out the Escort line.Les Johnson (Predator Quest) has been using one in 12 gage for coyotes for a couple of years..

My wife shoots a Charles Daly youth 20 gauge semi-auto. Great patterns with each choke and many different loads. It cost just over 300$ about 4 years ago. The 2 guns are probably comparable.

Charles Daly was only semi-auto youth model I could find. A few friends had Charles Daly 12's and liked so I went with it. She loves it and shoots it very well, and that is all I could hope for. I think more manufactures are seeing the need to fill youth market, so there a are many good choices.

Yeah, but even Mossburg tells the 935 won't cycle light dove loads. The 930 is supposed to remedy that. I've not seen one near the $300 mark though. Maybe I'm a wimp, but with my back pain, a light gun is priceless for me. If I had the $$$ I would like to have a Franchi Model 48 auto 20ga. I may have to check out the Escort and Charles Daly shotguns, those prices might be within reach with a little saving.

Yeah, the 930 was supposed to eat the light loads the 935 wouldn't eject. Don't know if they're any good, but online only the H&R autos look ok. I'll have my guys at the pawn/gun on the look out for a decent auto loader.
