I spent the day scouting today Just me and my Polaris. I went to the River (Mississippi) and really covered some ground. I have access to to about 15 miles of river edge property that is gonna be loaded with the black devils. When the food gets scarce about January the crows cruise that river feeding on fish and dead Yankees that float down from up north. I found several areas that will be perfect feeding set areas. The birds down here are starting to bunch up and establish roosts. I found a group of about 50 birds feeding on several dead carp. It will be easy to bait these birds this winter. I will also be doing some sets on the rock dikes that creep out in the river Hiding in the rocks will be fun but my dead birds will float all the way to Memphis I guess
Sounds like you're going to be ready. I went catfishing with a friend wednesday on the White River here in Arkensaw and saw lots of crows. As for the crows in the water, turtles got to eat too!
