Greetings from Michigan!

Had one work in really, really close this AM.  This crow is taking the phrase "hanging on by a thread" a little too literally. 



#7's to the neck.  I will say this, my wife was not too proud of my choice of photo opportunities.biggrin

Nice job Honker. Certainly took a hunk out of that bandit. Attatched a pic of one I "evicerated" at point blank with a charge of 7 1/2's a few weeks ago.

Nasty,

BH and model 12 have birds that are hit as hard as you can hit them.

If you look up one of Gadget Bob's posts you will see a link to the Texas Crow Patrol when you get to it click onto where it says "crow shooting ledgends" when my name comes up click onto it and scroll down until you hit "photos" that will take you right to the Fox Pro photo section. There are two full pages of blood and guts!

You sure laid the lead to that one!! I remember shooting a crow about 5yds out & I watched him get pushed backwards by the 7 1/2's. He dove into the edge of the brush & when I went out a few minutes later to put him in the deke spread his head had been detached. I didn't have a camera back then. I sure laughed heartily over that kill. LOL

Nice I love those shots!!!!

 

I have taken 2 heads clean off of crows.  

 

This year I finally punched a hole in one. With a metro barrel it wanted to land on
